چکیده
Symbiotic stars are long-period interacting binaries where the compact objects, most commonly a white dwarf, is embedded in dense stellar wind of an evolved companion star. UV and soft X-ray emission accretion disk nuclear burning dwarf plays major role shaping ionisation balance surrounding material giving rise to rich line emission. In this paper, we employ 2D photoionisation calculations based on Cloudy code study state circumbinary symbiotic systems predict their spectra. Our simulations parameterized via orbital parameters binary mass-loss rate donor star, while mass rate, temperature luminosity WD computed self-consistently. We explore parameter space compute luminosities various astrophysicaly important lines. The ratios compared traditional diagnostic diagrams used distinguish from other types sources it shown how system shape these diagrams. significant part nearly fully ionized, except for "shadow" behind thus typically freely escaping

H regions in symbiotic binaries and their radio emission
The slow and dense wind from a symbiotic red giant (RG) can be significantly deflected toward the orbital plane by the gravitational pull of the companion star. In such an environment, the ionizing radiation from the companion creates a highly asymmetric H region. We present three-dimensional models of H regions in symbiotic S-type systems, for which we calculate radio maps and radio spec...
متن کاملModeling Forbidden Line Emission Profiles from Colliding Wind Binaries
This paper presents calculations for forbidden emission line profile shapes arising from colliding wind binaries. The main application is for systems involving a Wolf-Rayet (WR) star and an OB star companion. The WR wind is assumed to dominate the forbidden line emission. The colliding wind interaction is treated as an archimedean spiral with an inner boundary. Under the assumptions of the mode...
متن کاملCircumstellar Molecular Line Absorption and Emission in the Optical Spectra of Post-agb Stars
We present a list of post-AGB stars showing molecular line absorption and emission in the optical spectrum. Two objects show CH, one in emission and one in absorption, and ten stars show C2 and CN in absorption. The Doppler velocities of the C2 lines and the rotational temperatures indicate that the line forming region is the AGB remnant. An analysis of the post-AGB stars of which CO millimeter...
متن کاملOptical/Infrared Polarised Emission in X-ray Binaries
Recently, evidence for synchrotron emission in both black-hole (BH) and neutron star X-ray binaries has been mounting, from optical/infrared spectral, polarimetric, and fast timing signatures. The synchrotron emission of jets can be highly linearly polarised, depending on the configuration of the magnetic field (B-field). Optical and infrared (OIR) polarimetric observations of X-ray binaries ar...
متن کاملSampling effects in the emission line spectra of HII regions
The combination of stellar population synthesis models and photoionization models allows a better understanding of the spectral features of HII regions and HII galaxies. In this work we show that sampling effects in the initial mass function (IMF) are very important in the low cluster mass case. To this aim, we compute photoionization models ionized by realistic clusters made up of various comb...
